Silicone defoamer in textile printing and dyeing
Foam is a dispersion system formed by insoluble gas dispersed in liquid or molten solid. In textile printing and dyeing production, many sections produce foam. The production of foams is not conducive to the accurate measurement of materials, which will cause waste of raw materials and products, prolong the production cycle, affect the quality of products, and limit the production capacity of enterprises. What is more serious is environmental pollution and safety accidents.
In order to solve the problem of foam, textile and dyeing enterprises focus their attention on chemical additives. Defoamer is introduced into the printing and dyeing industry, and is widely used in weaving, dyeing and finishing, sewing and other processes in the textile and dyeing industry. There are many kinds of defoamers, such as mineral oil defoamer, polyether defoamer, high carbon alcohol defoamer and organosilicon defoamer. Due to the poor defoaming ability of mineral oil defoamer, polyether defoamer and high carbon alcohol defoamer, organosilicon defoamer is widely used in the industry.
Organosilicon defoamer has other advantages that other defoamers do not have, such as excellent defoaming and antifoaming ability, low addition, high cost performance, durability, low reactivity, good system compatibility, wide temperature and pH range of use. In addition, organosilicon defoamer also has the characteristics of other organosilicon polymers, excellent heat resistance, significant hydrophobicity, good wear resistance and non sticky properties. Organosilicon modified by organic groups has excellent hydrophilicity and antistatic properties. At the same time, it has softness, smoothness and good resilience.
